Since we are only looking at mockups on Comment Portals and can’t interact with the pages, we are only checking to make sure that things look correct. We focus on the header/menu, the footer, CTA(Call to Action) buttons, hover elements and general formatting.
(Required)
Got it!
Header/Menu:
The header should not be too big, somewhere around 100px so that CTAs and other information is not beneath “the fold”, requiring clients to scroll down to see CTAs
It’s best for the company logo to bring clients back to the home page. A home logo is preferable to the word “Home”
If there is a Sign in link, there should also be a Sign up link
On the menu there should be an arrow indicating there are sub pages

Call to Action Buttons (CTA)
Ensure the CTA is above the fold at 750px
Scroll is visible and clickable
The links should be descriptive. Learn more, read now, get more info should be avoided. Being more descriptive helps with screen readers
Make sure that graphics are high quality. Vector graphics can be made if what the client provides does not look good enough
