Powerful Teams Up With Natchez Trace EPA to Streamline Member Services
HOUSTON, MS — What do electric service, fiber internet, and local representation have in common? For Natchez Trace Electric Power Association (Natchez Trace EPA), the answer is simple: community connection. Now, thanks to a redesigned website built in partnership with Powerful, those connections are easier to access than ever.
The new platform reflects Natchez Trace EPA’s commitment to reliable service, transparent communication, and accessible digital tools. It brings both electric and broadband services—offered through the co-op’s subsidiary, NT Spark—together under one cohesive roof. A department header at the top of the site allows visitors to toggle between services with ease. Members can now explore everything from outage updates to fiber internet plans without needing to leave the site.
“The team at Natchez Trace was such a pleasure to work with,” said Stacey Horton, Project Manager at Powerful. “Through their eager collaboration, we were able to help them create a welcoming visitor experience through a website that was modern and community-driven.”
In addition to a clean and intuitive layout, the site includes new features that support Natchez Trace EPA’s long-standing values as a member-owned cooperative. On the Board Members page, an interactive district map allows visitors to type in their address and instantly discover which district they belong to and who represents them. The map provides a more accessible path to member involvement and strengthens transparency—both cornerstones of cooperative governance.
To further support the co-op’s goal of reducing administrative strain, Powerful also implemented its Forms web app to digitize service-related tasks. Members can now start electric service or make requests through mobile-friendly online forms, replacing the need for printed PDFs, phone calls, or email attachments.
“Through the implementation of our forms web app, they are now able to streamline internal processes for service applications,” Horton added. “I can’t wait to see how they continue to use these tools to benefit their members.”
Whether a visitor is checking on an outage, applying for service, or learning about their board, the new site offers a centralized, approachable space to get tasks done. The result is a modern experience that doesn’t lose sight of what matters most: the people behind the power.
