Powerful Supports Paulding Putnam’s Fiber Internet Expansion With Website Redesign
PAULDING, OH — Paulding Putnam’s next chapter builds on the same cooperative promise that shaped its first one: meeting rural needs when reliable service matters most.
Powerful recently redesigned Paulding Putnam Electric and Internet’s website as the cooperative expands into fiber internet alongside its longtime electric service. The new website supports intuitive navigation, online tools and updated content for visitors seeking electric resources, internet information, community programs and service support.
Paulding Putnam serves nearly 14,000 members across seven counties in Northwest Ohio and Northeast Indiana. The cooperative has served the region since 1935, and its 2024 decision to add fiber internet continues its legacy of investing in essential infrastructure for rural communities.
The redesign also complements Paulding Putnam’s recent rebrand, which introduced a simplified name, updated logo and the tagline, “A Legacy of Power. A Future of Connection.”
“From the start, the Paulding Putnam team had a clear vision for their website,” said Annie Watson, Powerful project manager.
To support that vision, Powerful implemented a Department Header that gives visitors the ability to toggle between electric and internet resources. Each side of the website follows Powerful’s Alder blueprint, creating a consistent structure across the experience. Each area also has its own color palette, helping visitors quickly recognize where they are while keeping the full site connected to Paulding Putnam’s brand.
Watson said the project needed to align with Paulding Putnam’s new branding while “making sure that resources and information were easy to find for both the electric and new internet services.”
Powerful also helped Paulding Putnam expand access to online tools. The redesign included converting select PDF forms into online forms, including the Join Co-op Connections as a Business form. The online form gives local businesses a direct way to participate in the cooperative’s member discount program.
The site also features Powerful’s Capital Credits Lookup Tool, which allows members to search their name and check for unclaimed capital credits. The tool supports one of the cooperative model’s key differences by making member ownership benefits easier to explore online.
Powerful and Paulding Putnam also collaborated on curated content for key pages, including Economic Development, Streaming 101 and the Safety Center. The pages help the cooperative share timely information about regional growth, fiber internet education and safety resources for members and communities.
“Their commitment to serving their members made it easy to build a digital presence that reflects who they are today while positioning them for future growth,” Watson said. “Seeing the finished product come together was incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud of what we accomplished together.”
As Paulding Putnam continues expanding fiber internet service across the region, the redesigned website provides a stronger digital foundation for members to access information, manage services and stay connected to the cooperative’s evolving offerings.
