HOUMA, LA – South Louisiana Electric Cooperative Association (SLECA) has launched a redesigned website in partnership with Powerful. Serving over 17,000 member accounts across five parishes in Louisiana, SLECA needed a website that matched its commitment to community service and reliability. With hurricane season underway, having a disaster-ready platform was a key priority for SLECA. The redesigned site includes a dedicated safety section that features a visualized hurricane preparedness page. This page breaks down critical safety information in a clear, engaging format, helping members quickly find the steps they need to stay safe during storms. As emergencies can arise at any moment, the website is designed for ease of use, ensuring members can access vital information when it matters most.
