Powerful Refreshes Columbia River PUD’s Website

Built to enhance navigation, highlight timely updates, and better serve customers, the new site reflects CRPUD’s ongoing commitment to accessible communication.
“From the jump, the Columbia River PUD team knew they wanted a fresh website that was easy to navigate and professional yet friendly,” said Stacey Horton, Project Manager at Powerful. “This being their second website with Powerful, we knew that moving them into our Springwater blueprint would be a great way to achieve their goals, while staying true to their branding.”
For CRPUD, the refresh was about continuing to meet the expectations of a community that values transparency and convenience. As technology advances, so do the ways customers interact with their utility online. The updated design focuses on clear pathways, modern visuals, and flexibility to help visitors find the information they need quickly and confidently.
The refreshed site introduces Powerful’s Springwater blueprint, a flexible, promotional layout that helps CRPUD share relevant content throughout the year. At launch, the homepage focuses on Winter Energy Saving Tips and Outage Preparedness, providing clear calls to action and concise content that keep customers informed and engaged. The new design also makes it easier for staff to update content as priorities shift—allowing the website to grow alongside CRPUD’s seasonal communication needs.

Beyond the homepage refresh, CRPUD continues to rely on Powerful’s Agendas & Minutes web app to make board materials and meeting details readily available to the public. The tool helps maintain transparency and strengthens community trust, giving visitors quick access to important governance information.
