ICLP partnered with Powerful to bring its community-first mission online. As a member-owned cooperative, ICLP was focused on more than just functionality. They wanted a site that reflected their role as a trusted resource and local partner to the people of North Central Idaho.
The homepage delivers on that goal with a clean, task-oriented blueprint. Visitors can easily access high-priority actions like starting or stopping service, paying a bill or submitting a new construction request. “It’s always exciting to launch a site that feels like a true extension of a co-op’s mission,” said Leanna Thesken, Senior Implementation Specialist at Powerful. “ICLP is all about providing reliable service for modern living, and now their website does the same.”
Beyond day-to-day service, the new site also reinforces ICLP’s cooperative identity through community-focused content. A homepage section titled “In the Spotlight” features Ruralite stories and updates, brought to life using Powerful’s News Releases app. This feature allows ICLP to repurpose familiar print content into digital posts that are timely, accessible and easy to browse.
The commitment to transparency and communication continues with the “Meetings, Events & Closures” section. Powered by Powerful’s Calendar & Events app, this feature provides a visual display of upcoming board meetings, office closures and more—ensuring members are always in the loop.
