Fueling the Future: Powerful Accelerates Digital Innovation for Washington’s Cooperative Energy Leaders

CLE ELUM, WASHINGTON — At the crossroads of innovation and community, Powerful helps lead the charge in digital transformation for Washington’s electric cooperatives.

Powerful, a trusted digital partner for utility organizations, proudly sponsored and attended the 2025 WRECA Energy Summit and Annual Meeting, held at the stunning Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington. Represented by CEO Charlie Stanley and Director of Content and Design Operations Jeff Marshall, the team joined industry leaders, policymakers, and cooperative stakeholders to explore pressing energy challenges and chart Washington’s path forward.

The Energy Summit brought together more than 30 speakers and hundreds of attendees from across the Pacific Northwest to discuss key topics including regional load growth, reliability, wildfire mitigation, hydropower collaboration, and Washington’s embrace of emerging technologies like Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). Notable sessions included “Currents of Cooperation: Hydropower, Salmon & Collaboration in the Northwest”, “Washington’s Nuclear Moment”, and a conversation on Governor Bob Ferguson’s Energy Vision.

Powerful’s presence at the summit was especially meaningful this year, following the launch of two new digital platforms built in partnership with WRECA: a redesigned WRECA.org and a dedicated site for the John Irwin Memorial Golf Tournament. Both websites went live earlier this year in preparation for the summit and featured custom-designed sign-up forms and event tools to streamline registration and participation.

The team has also collaborated with six of WRECA’s associate members, further solidifying its role as a leading web partner in the state’s energy community.
