Powerful & Cookson Hills Connect Spotlight Fiber Services Through New Website
STIGLER, OK — Fast internet is only part of the equation… finding it should be just as seamless. That’s the idea behind Cookson Hills Connect’s new website, designed in partnership with Powerful to make browsing, comparing and subscribing to broadband services easier than ever. The refreshed web design puts fiber front and center, giving visitors a clear path to explore offerings and connect with the services they need.
Launched in 2020 as a subsidiary of Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative, Cookson Hills Connect has steadily expanded its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network to deliver high-speed, symmetrical gigabit internet to homes and businesses across the region. As their subscriber base grew, so did the need for a website that could showcase broadband packages, support strategic promotions, and provide a seamless experience for both visitors and staff.
“As a fiber subsidiary of an electric cooperative, strategic promotion of services and packages is key to help spark subscriptions,” said Annie Watson, Project Manager at Powerful. The new site was intentionally built with those goals in mind.
Cookson Hills Connect worked closely with Powerful to implement a promotional-based blueprint that would prioritize clarity and action. The homepage features bold imagery, streamlined messaging, and intuitive calls to action that support both clarity and engagement.
“The Cookson Hills team intentionally designed their site with a promotional-based blueprint to ensure website visitors were easily able to navigate the various packages and services the fiber company has to offer,” Watson added.
To further support transparency and compliance, the site integrates Powerful’s Rate Plans web app, which includes broadband labels that follow FCC guidelines. These standardized labels make it easy for visitors to compare plan details, like pricing, speeds, and terms; while offering Cookson Hills Connect an efficient way to update or add offerings as needed.
Beyond service details, the homepage also includes a dynamic news section where the co-op highlights community stories, technology tips, and product spotlights. This regularly updated content helps keep the site relevant and gives Cookson Hills Connect a consistent channel for community engagement.
“The site turned out great and I am excited to see how the team uses the platform to grow their services,” said Watson.
With the new website now live, Cookson Hills Connect is well-positioned to expand its reach, strengthen community connections, and make it easier for rural members to explore and subscribe to reliable broadband.
