Powerful Collaborates With MidSouth Electric Co-op to Launch One-of-a-Kind Website

NAVASOTA, TX —In true Texas fashion, MidSouth Electric Cooperative is going big—this time in the digital space. The co-op has launched a bold new website designed to give members easier access to the services they rely on, all with a look and feel that’s unmistakably local. Built in partnership with Powerful, the site pairs intuitive tools with a one-of-a-kind design that reflects MidSouth’s roots, pride, and commitment to serving its community.

The custom design was developed in close collaboration with Powerful’s Project Manager, Annie Watson, who shares more than just a sharp eye for web design with the MidSouth team– she shares the same home state. “Working with the MidSouth Communications Team to bring their goals to life was so fun!” said Watson. “As a co-op with a strong brand and clear communication goals, their new premium website exemplifies their mission to serve their members on the digital front.”

The redesigned site highlights frequently used services like online bill pay and MidSouth Fiber Internet in prominent homepage placements, making them easier to find and use. With intuitive structure and straightforward navigation, the website aims to reduce member frustration and limit unnecessary calls or emails. “The new site is easy to navigate, putting common member tasks front and center,” said Watson.

One of the most impactful updates was transforming a set of commonly used program applications from downloadable PDFs into mobile-friendly online forms. Members can now submit requests for New Home Rebates, Energy Efficiency Rewards, and Residential Solar programs directly through the site—no printing, scanning or mailing required. The change supports MidSouth’s goal to increase participation in energy-efficiency services by making the process faster and easier for everyone involved.

The site also features a standout visual—a custom illustrated footer designed just for MidSouth. With images of rodeos, electric vehicles, livestock, a football field and bucket trucks, the artwork reflects the unique character of the communities MidSouth serves. It’s a visual nod to the co-op’s history, its values, and the members behind every meter. As Watson put it, “This Texas gal is truly proud of their new site!”
