Powerful Attends Arkansas Member Services Association Conference, Showcases New Arkansas Living Magazine Website in Hot Springs, Arkansas
HOT SPRINGS, AR – Powerful, a leading web design provider for electric cooperatives, proudly attended the Arkansas Member Services Association conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The event, held from October 25 to October 27th, brought together member services, communication managers and energy efficiency specialists from electric distribution cooperatives across Arkansas, staff from Arkansas Living magazine, Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC), the Generation & Transmission Cooperative and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI), the Statewide Services Cooperative jointly known as, Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas.
Representing Powerful at the conference were Caleigh Pickard, Senior Project Manager, and Charlie Stanley, CEO. One of the highlights of the conference was the showcase of the newly designed Arkansas Living magazine website by Jennifer Christman-Cia. The website, created by Powerful, features enhanced usability and a mobile-first design approach, providing an engaging and user-friendly experience for its visitors.

The new Arkansas Living website has been well-received for its innovative features and improved user experience. During the conference, Powerful was thanked for its contributions to the design efforts, which have significantly enhanced the magazine’s digital presence.
The conference was particularly special for Powerful because of Caleigh Pickard’s deep-rooted connections to Arkansas. As a fully decentralized team with members across 17 states, having Caleigh based in Arkansas underscores the significance of this event. Caleigh grew up on cooperative lines with First Electric Cooperative in Arkansas and participated in the NRECA Youth Tour during high school, thanks to First Electric Cooperative. She has been involved with the Youth Tour ever since and was even featured on the cover of Arkansas Living magazine as a high school student. Additionally, she received a scholarship from NRECA for college, further strengthening her bond with Arkansas electric cooperatives.
“This conference holds a special place in our hearts because of Caleigh’s longstanding relationship with Arkansas electric cooperatives,” Charlie Stanley added. “Her journey from a Youth Tour participant to a Senior Project Manager at Powerful exemplifies the positive impact of cooperative programs. We are proud to support and contribute to the Arkansas Member Services Association and its initiatives.”
