“The new website feels fresh, more seamless, and modern,” said Tabetha Sullens, administrative services manager at McMinnville Electric System.
The new site utilizes Powerful’s Laurelhurst blueprint, a promotional floor plan that highlights priority programs directly on the homepage. Payment options and energy incentives are featured through clearly defined sections that pair strong visuals with concise descriptions and direct links for additional information. The structure allows visitors to quickly understand available resources and take action without unnecessary steps.
“Being a smaller municipal utility, McMinnville Electric needed a site that effectively connected with their community and made a meaningful impact that reflects their commitment to customers,” said Stacey Horton, project manager at Powerful. Horton noted that the Laurelhurst blueprint supports that goal by organizing services into clear promotional sections that guide visitors naturally through the site.
“My favorite part of the process? The people at Powerful, honestly,” Sullens said. “They were all delightful and patient. They never seemed stressed for flustered and answered every question that we had.”
In addition to program highlights, the website integrates built-in News Releases and Calendar & Events web apps. These tools allow MES to feature recent stories, recognize community involvement and promote upcoming meetings or office closures directly from the homepage.
“They now have the ability to keep visitors informed of news and events in a way that supports the clean, engaging look the team envisioned,” Horton said. “The McMinnville team brought a strong sense of purpose to the project, and it was a pleasure collaborating with them as they settled into their new digital home.”
