About

Caleigh Pickard’s connection to cooperatives runs deep. Her journey began in high school when she was selected by First Electric Cooperative to participate in the 2015 NRECA Youth Tour. That same year, she was chosen as the Youth Leadership Council delegate to represent the State of Arkansas. Later, while in college and afterwards, she spent eight years working with NRECA supporting Youth Tour, the Youth Leadership Council, and the Co-ops Vote program. Those experiences not only shaped her love for cooperative values but also gave her a unique perspective on what makes co-ops so impactful in their communities.

Since joining the Powerful team, Caleigh has become a trusted partner for cooperative communicators across the country. In her first two years, she successfully managed the launch of more than 40 utility websites, coordinating resources, guiding teams through implementation, and ensuring quality at every stage. Over the last year, she has continued to lead by working directly with utility organizations to design solutions that fit their unique goals and challenges.

Caleigh brings both extensive experience and creativity to every project. She knows that a cooperative website isn’t just a digital tool; it’s a member touchpoint that reflects the co-op’s identity, mission, and future vision. Whether she’s helping a team navigate complex dual-service websites, brainstorming new ways to engage members, or finding the balance between flexibility and long-term sustainability, her focus is always on building confidence and collaboration with the communicators she serves.

For Caleigh, every project is personal. She’s not only helping launch great websites; she’s helping her co-op peers tell their stories, connect with members, and carry forward the values that inspired her own career.
