Annie Watson is a dedicated Project Manager at Powerful, bringing a deep-seated passion for electric cooperatives that runs in her family. As a third-generation co-op employee, Annie’s commitment to the cooperative model is unparalleled. She previously served as the Associate Vice President of Communications for Tri-County Electric Cooperative, where she spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance member engagement and communication.

One of Annie’s notable achievements while at Tri-County Electric Cooperative was reviving the co-op’s involvement in the NRECA Youth Tour in 2019, after a 30-year hiatus, demonstrating her dedication to fostering future leaders.

Recognized as one of the 2023 Co-op Rising Stars, Annie’s leadership and vision continue to drive impactful change, making a meaningful difference in the co-op community.

At Powerful, Annie is responsible for the success of every project launch she oversees. As a project manager, her role includes facilitating strategy, presenting clients with our work progress, revealing new websites, and collaborating with our utility partners on revisions and ideas to ensure our projects truly shine and exceed client goals. Annie’s unique background as a communicator provides her with valuable insights, enabling her to offer suggestions for continuous improvement and ensuring smooth, efficient project progression.

Annie’s ability to view projects from both sides of the table allows her to explore new ideas and enhance our processes, ensuring that the utility organizations and cooperatives we partner with have an exceptional experience.
