Union Power Charitable Foundation (UPCF) is dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of Union Power Cooperative members and local communities. Bringing UPCF’s Story to Life
As a new foundation, UPCF needed to introduce itself in a way that was both informative and engaging. Powerful helped UPCF achieve this by implementing the Irving Storytelling blueprint—a dynamic design that allows visitors to scroll through different sections, accompanied by an interactive sidebar. The sections; including community initiatives, about UPCF, news, and contributions, unfold as visitors explore the site, offering a seamless narrative that gradually immerses them in UPCF’s mission and impact.
This storytelling approach is particularly impactful for a newly launched foundation; it gives visitors a memorable experience while learning about the foundation’s work and values. The blueprint serves as a creative communication strategy, turning the website into a narrative tool that captures attention and creates a deeper connection with the audience. For their first website, this strategy proves essential in telling their story from the ground up.
Driving Action Through Intuitive Design
Once UPCF’s story is established, the next step is to encourage visitors to take action. Powerful achieved this through an intuitive design that makes taking action simple and straightforward. At the center of the homepage’s hero section, a large “Donate Now” button immediately draws attention, inviting visitors to support the foundation’s initiatives. This strategic placement ensures that the call to action is front and center, making it easy for visitors to engage with the foundation’s cause. By prioritizing this element, UPCF effectively motivates potential donors to contribute, increasing their chances of receiving vital financial support.
In addition to driving donations, the website’s intuitive design also simplifies access to essential information. The “Community Strong” section on the homepage, along with the global navigation, provides easy access to information about grants and application processes. This clear and accessible navigation structure helps community members and nonprofit organizations quickly find the resources they need, promoting active participation and engagement with UPCF’s programs.
