Electric Cooperatives of Mississippi (ECM) supports its association members in providing affordable, reliable electricity to Mississippi. By building support among governmental and business leaders and delivering shared services, ECM enhances the strength and success of its members. To refresh their design and improve functionality, ECM partnered with Powerful to redesign their website, making it a more effective tool for communication and resource sharing.

Enhancing Member Access

ECM needed a secure and visitor-friendly login portal to allow members access to pertinent information. The goal was to simplify the login process and ensure that members could easily find and access the resources they needed without hassle.

Powerful integrated a login button into the global navigation, making it prominently visible and easy to locate. Upon clicking, members are directed to an intuitive login portal where they can securely enter their credentials. This straightforward access point ensures that only authorized members can view password-protected content, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

The introduction of the password-protected content significantly enhances ECM’s ability to share exclusive resources with its members. This secure access creates a sense of trust and reliability among members, knowing that ECM is taking measures to protect important information.

Unifying Association Members

With over 3,000 employees across member co-ops and 826,000 meters served, ECM needed a centralized location to unify its vast network. The goal was to create an easily navigable directory that would serve as the go-to guide for finding local members.

Powerful’s Resource Directory app was the perfect solution. It organizes all member co-ops into clickable tiles, each featuring the member co-op’s logo. Visitors can simply click on a tile to be directed to the co-op’s external website. This intuitive design ensures that visitors can effortlessly find and access the information they need.

The centralized Resource Directory has become an invaluable tool for ECM’s members. It streamlines the process of finding local services and connecting with other co-op members. This unified approach bolsters ECM’s mission to support its members, driving greater strength and success across the association.
