Overview

Clarity at the Core

CORE Data Center plays a critical role in supporting businesses that depend on secure, reliable infrastructure. As a colocation facility backed by Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, CORE brings together advanced technology, resilient power systems, and a dedicated team focused on protecting and powering critical operations. With services ranging from rack space and fiber connectivity to remote support, their environment is built to handle high expectations.

As CORE continued to grow, there was a clear opportunity to present that level of sophistication online. The goal was to reflect the strength of their facility through a website that feels just as modern and capable. CORE partnered with Powerful to create a website that clearly communicates their capabilities, keeps information current, and helps visitors quickly understand what sets their facility apart. The result is a website designed to inform, build confidence, and support the businesses that rely on CORE every day.

Showcasing Strength, Security, & Scale

When businesses evaluate data center services, they are looking for clear answers around security, reliability, and performance. Details like backup systems, facility construction, and network connectivity are important factors in decision-making. CORE set out to bring these details forward in a way that feels clear, credible, and aligned with the strength of their operations.

Powerful’s Halsey promotional blueprint provided a strong foundation for the homepage, where first impressions carry weight. The page opens with a bold, security-focused hero that immediately signals protection and reliability. Strong visuals paired with concise messaging introduce CORE’s role and set expectations right away.

From there, structured promotional sections guide visitors through the core pillars of the facility. Highlights like Intelligent Power, Incredible Strength, and Redundancy are presented in a clean, scannable layout. Each section pairs short, straightforward explanations with supporting imagery, helping visitors quickly understand what CORE offers without needing to interpret complex technical information.

Calls to action such as Schedule a Tour, Get a Quote, and Contact Us are placed directly within reach, giving visitors a clear next step at the exact moment they are ready to take action. Supporting elements like the “By the Numbers” section reinforce credibility with quick, digestible metrics, including uptime and monitoring capabilities.

The impact is a homepage that feels strong, organized, and informative. Visitors can quickly connect CORE’s services to their own needs, building trust early and encouraging deeper exploration.

Simple Structure, Strong Direction

With services this critical, clarity matters. Visitors often arrive with a specific goal in mind, whether they are comparing colocation options, reviewing connectivity, or looking for support. CORE set out to create a website where those next steps feel clear from the moment someone begins exploring.

A typical experience starts in the main navigation. A visitor clicks into a section like Services or Infrastructure and is brought to a landing page designed to guide them forward. Instead of being met with dense text, they are greeted with large, clearly labeled navigation tiles. Each tile acts as a direct path to a specific topic, such as Colocation Solutions, Connectivity & Cross-Connects, or Remote Hands & Support.

These tiles are intentionally designed to be easy to read and easy to select. The size, contrast, and labeling support accessibility, helping visitors using assistive technology move through the page with confidence. For someone scanning quickly, the structure makes it simple to identify where to go next without second guessing.

Once inside an interior page, content is structured to support how CORE communicates the strength and reliability behind its facility. Headings guide each section, short paragraphs keep information approachable, and bullet points highlight key details. Whether reviewing rack specifications or fiber pathways, visitors can quickly understand the level of protection and performance CORE provides– helping build confidence in a service where trust matters.

As they continue exploring, navigation remains consistent and logically organized, making it easy to move between related topics and gain a fuller picture of CORE’s capabilities. Contact information stays within reach across every page, with a click-to-dial phone number in the footer for quick connection. This structure helps CORE stay accessible, ensuring businesses can find answers, feel informed, and confidently reach out.

Challenges

As CORE Data Center continues to grow, there was a need to present its identity in a way that reflects the strength and reliability behind its facility. In a competitive space, many data center providers rely on similar messaging, making it difficult for visitors to quickly distinguish one from another. CORE set out to establish a presence that feels clear, confident, and immediately identifiable.

Their services are built around critical infrastructure—power redundancy, physical security, and network reliability. These are high-stakes considerations, and they require more than general descriptions. CORE needed a way to bring these defining qualities forward so visitors can quickly understand the level of protection and performance behind their operations.

At the same time, it was important that this identity supports how visitors engage with the site. Messaging needed to be direct, visual elements needed to reinforce key ideas, and the overall presentation needed to help visitors quickly connect CORE’s brand with the services they provide.

Solutions

The website was designed to give CORE a clear and recognizable presence from the first interaction. Their yellow branding is applied with intention, showing up in key moments like calls to action, section dividers, and interactive elements. It creates a consistent visual cue that helps visitors quickly associate what they’re seeing with CORE, rather than blending into a sea of similar-looking providers.

The logo and supporting brand elements are given room to stand on their own throughout the site. Instead of competing with heavy design or unnecessary effects, the layout allows CORE’s identity to come through cleanly. This keeps the focus on who they are and what they offer.

Attention is also placed on how the brand supports decision-making. Key actions like Get a Quote and Schedule a Tour are clearly tied into CORE’s visual identity, making them easy to spot and easy to act on. This connection between branding and functionality helps create a more direct experience, where visitors can quickly move from understanding CORE to engaging with them.

Results

The website positions CORE clearly among competing data center providers. Key details around power, security, and reliability are easy to identify early, helping visitors quickly understand what CORE offers without needing to search. This clarity supports faster, more confident decision-making in a space where time and trust matter.

CORE stands apart more clearly in a crowded market. A distinct visual identity paired with focused messaging helps create a stronger first impression, giving visitors a clear sense of who CORE is within the first few moments. As they continue exploring, that clarity holds, making it easier to compare CORE against other providers without losing track of what makes them different.

The result is a website that supports CORE’s role as a trusted infrastructure partner. It presents their services in a way that feels credible, straightforward, and aligned with the expectations of their audience, helping turn initial interest into meaningful engagement.

As a data center, CORE needed to be able to communicate with their site visitors that security and reliability were their top priority. By going with our Halsey blueprint, they were able to convey those qualities through the bold and sleek design elements with sharp edges, often associated with a secure and forward-thinking site experience. Additionally, they could highlight the top features of their data center through the promotional sections available on the homepage.  Overall, I think that this website looks very technology-forward and will be a great tool for businesses to find more information!
