To uplift their mission to provide reliable electricity and services to their members, Clark County REMC works toward the future by investing in efficient ways of communication. A website redesign was deemed necessary to achieve these innovative communication goals.

Prioritize Members’ Needs

To ensure Clark County REMC exceeds its mission of being a beneficial part of the community, its new website goes above and beyond meeting the demands of member-owners. The task-oriented website anticipates Clark County REMC members’ top tasks such as starting new service, reporting an outage, or learning more about various programs. These tasks are easy to navigate through Call-to-Action buttons that are displayed on the homepage. Members can quickly and easily find necessary information.

Cooperative Principles in Action

Clark County REMC takes pride in being a cooperative. That’s why their new website is built on the foundation of the Cooperative Principles. The modern online platform especially highlights Cooperative Principle #5: Education, Training, and Information. Clark County REMC’s original website lacked interest and involvement from its members. The website did not proactively meet the needs of Clark County REMC’s members, thus making it unappealing. Through team collaboration, Clark County REMC determined the importance of shifting their online presence to prioritize the needs of their members.
